Anthony Manker is the Licensing Manager at ClearBox Rights, a boutique music rights management company based in Nashville, Tennessee. He handles all licensing for more than 350 client catalogs comprising more than 40,000 song copyrights, including a range of modern chart-toppers and classic hits, across genres like country, CCM, and southern gospel. Anthony is certified in YouTube Digital Rights Management and oversees all of ClearBox’s YouTube rights management activities.

Previously, Anthony worked in royalty administration at Sony/ATV Music Publishing, the largest music publisher in the world, and in general licensing/business development at SESAC, the nation’s most innovative performing rights organization. In addition, Anthony was a researcher on the Pipeline Project music industry think tank at Belmont University, whose research based on interviews with industry stakeholders such as Google, the RIAA, and the NMPA was cited by the U.S. Copyright Office its February 2015 report on music licensing and copyright reform.

Anthony earned his B.B.A. from Belmont University in May 2015 with a major in music business and a minor in Spanish. He has educated professionals and students on the topics of music publishing and music policy through various speaking engagements, including talks at Leadership Music, Belmont University, Flo Thinkery, Warner/Chappell, and the Curb Creative Connection.

He is a member of the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP), Society Of Leaders In Development (SOLID), the Copyright Society of the South, Young Entertainment Professionals (YEP), and volunteers for MusiCares.
